Students are investigating the properties of salt, both observable and measurable. They calculate the difference in weight between the crushed and uncrushed salt to find evidence for whether the weight is more, less, or the same. Students will analyze what happens to the weight and volume of salt and water when mixed as well. |

Students observed what happens to the sheep when they ride in a jeep and collide into a wall. We discussed Newton's First Law of Motion ~ "Every object persists in its state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line unless it is compelled to change that state by forces impressed on it." In other words, "things tend to keep on doing whatever they're doing until something else (affects) them." |
